I did lasik eye surgery 6 months ago. I still feel pain whenever I wake up in the morning, and difficult to open. Also, some nights tears will fall down. But after like 30 minutes or an hour, the pain goes away. I’m just concerned if I should do anything about it or is it just normal?

Some people have a sensitivity to the preservatives in the moisturizing drops. For these people, preservative-free make a big difference. For most people, there is no difference. Try to regular drops to see how they feel -- they are much less expensive.
I highly discourage eye rubbing so early in your healing process. The flaps are most fragile immediately after the procedure. If your eyes feel gritty or itchy, it is most likely dry. I would use preservative free tears every two hours to improve your comfort. If the flap is dislodged, you ma...
