you likely did and will get permanent hyperpigmentation and/or scarring if you do not start red light therapy, stem cell topical therapy, faith essence serum and is clinical hydracool, and sun protection right now. 2-3 weeks from now you need to do an enlighten, Cosmelan, or aerify peel.

Burns need a combination of:
1) healing lasers and light such as aerolase or laser genesis and LED therapy with light stim
2) topical growth factors, stem cells, antioxidants
3) oxygen facials
4) platelet rich plasma and A cell topically
5) sun protection
6) vascular lasers for redness such as venus versa IPL, excel V KTP, and pulsed dye laser/VBeam
After 6-12 weeks you can treat for hyperpigmentation with cosmelan peels, hydroquinone, retinol or non ablative lasers like clear and brilliant or radiofrequency like venus viva.

What you are describing is physiologically impossible to have occurred from a laser treatment , and should seek other possibilities for fat atrophy . Fat loss is below the dermis and would need to be heated up to 70 degrees Celsius for fat atrophy to occur. We also know fat atrophy takes 6 weeks to occur so 3 weeks is not an accurate timeline .. This heat would have to travel though the upper skin layers( epidermis and dermis) to reach the fat layer. These layers of skin will cause second degree burns at 50-55 degrees Celsius. If you did not suffer any second degree burns ( blisters) , then the temperature was below 55 degrees... which by definition can not cause fat atrophy . In addition the exposure time to a laser pulse is less than 1 second ( usually milliseconds) which is not enough time for fat atrophy . Treatments like sculpsure which use lasers to spare skin and melt fat use at least 25 minutes of exposure time, not seconds .....Your skin may have suffered epidermal water loss, which makes it appear wrinkled, but fat loss is not the cause.
