Is it normal for pinpoint bleeding to occur a week after a Picosure tattoo removal treatment? (photo)

This was my first removal treatment. Blisters appeared after 24 hours, but it is only in the past 24 hours...some 8 days post-treatment....that a lot of pinpoint bleeding has appeared in the green areas of my tattoo. It doesn't hurt much....it still feels like a fading sunburn, but I'm concerned and I don't know what this means. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your question. This is a little unusual but nothing to worry about and should stop bleeding soon. I advise you to keep the area clean and use an antibiotic ointment a light dressing. You should cover the area up if you go outside in the sun. I recommend advising your physician of this at your next visit. Best of Luck!

keep the area clean and while you are having this small amount of bleeding i would recommend any type of antibiotic ointment and a light dressing. you can shower and get it wet. definitely cover it up if you go out in the sun. I am sure this will stop bleeding very soon. wait two months before you next session and just mention it to your doctor at your next visit.david berman md
