This was my first removal treatment. Blisters appeared after 24 hours, but it is only in the past 24 hours...some 8 days post-treatment....that a lot of pinpoint bleeding has appeared in the green areas of my tattoo. It doesn't hurt much....it still feels like a fading sunburn, but I'm concerned and I don't know what this means. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your question. Yes PicoSure is safe for a PA to administer on tattoo treatment. The PicoSure is FDA-approved and highly effective for removing regrettable tattoos and scars. However it is always best to get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
You should see some results after the first Picosure treatment. Picosure is new technology that usually yileds results after one treatment and in general requires less treatments to treat hyperpigmentation. It takes some time to see results therefore, treatments are spaces out around 6 weeks....
Picosure is great for removing red ink. It is important to use right wavelength settings and be patient. It is harder to remove red ink but it is possible. It will require more treatments and experienced provider. I advise you to discuss your concerns with your provider. Good luck!
