Lots of Bruising After Thigh Lipo - How Long Does That Last?

Bruising after thigh liposuction is quite common and can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Typically, bruising peaks within the first 3 to 5 days and then gradually fades. The duration and intensity of the bruising can depend on factors like the extent of the procedure, individual healing response, and adherence to post-op care instructions.
To help manage bruising, consider the following tips:
• Rest and elevate your legs as much as possible.
• Wear compression garments as recommended to reduce swelling and support healing.
• Avoid activities that might aggravate bruising or swelling.
• Apply cold compresses in the initial days to reduce inflammation.
• Follow your plastic surgeon’s post-op instructions for best results.

Bruising after lipo can take a few weeks to completely go away.  I think you should give it more time. If you have any concerns, I suggest that you see your surgeon.
