Tretinoin and sun exposure

Hello, I use tretinoin regularly for years. I have fair skin. It is impossible to always wear sunblock at all times, especially during winter. after being oudoors for 5-10 minutes in UV index 2 weather, my skin gets redness and irritation for 12-24 hours. This is a mild sunburn. do mild sunburns have long-term consequences? I get these a few times per year

Sunburns can damage skin cells and cause premature aging, also known as photoaging, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, and changes in skin texture. They can also increase your risk of developing skin cancer, including melanoma, the most serious type.
