How should I use the following topical medications?

I was recently prescribed Benzoyl peroxide face wash, clindamycin gel, and Tretinoin Cream and only was told to only use the tretinoin at night. Do I only use the Benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin in the day time?

I would recommend AM: Benzoyl peroxide wash followed by clindamucin gel. You didn’t mention a sunblock but that should be the last step of your morning routine. You should reapply sunblock throughout the day if possible. Evening: gentle cleaning then tretinoin cream followed by moisturizer. If you’re using a Vitamin C serum this should be applied first immediately after cleansing.

Thank you for your question. Every providers treatment regimen slightly differs. In my opinion, I recommend using benzoyl peroxide wash in the morning followed by clindamycin gel. Then wash your face at night with gentle facial cleanser and then apply tretinoin cream. I highly recommend you consult with your prescribing provider regarding the appropriate treatment regimen.
