Hi, I know Radiesse is not dissolvable. It was misplaced in June (5 months ago). I have had several saline flushes, and months of intense massage which have greatly reduced it. There is a small amount of volume left with intermittent swelling. The next step of treatment is 5fu/ VERY diluted kenalog 5. I am wondering what the risks are of each of these. I know kenalog can have atrophy risk, but if it is greatly diluted does this risk nearly disappear if injected properly? Risks if 5fu? Thx

Based on your description, it is possible that the blue discoloration is related to a vascular issue, rather than hyperpigmentation. This could be due to the injection accidentally hitting a blood vessel during the procedure, which can lead to the development of a bruise or blue discoloration...
Jo, I would massage your neck after Radiesse is placed. your injector will typically mold and massage if needed. Ice is ok to use for swelling, otherwise I would let it settle on its own. Hope this helps!
