Bumps and hyperpigmentation after laser hair removal (Photo)

it's been almost 8 months after I got laser hair removal at a Medical Spa. All was going well until 3 weeks after my last 8th session when I got bumps and hyperpigmentation. My Derm said I had developed Keratosis Pilaris on my lower legs which I never had before. I'm not looking for your opinion on treatment options to manage KP. But I'm looking for your expert opinion on how could KP develop after Laser Hair removal. Like I said I only got this after my last 8th LHR treatment.

Hair will not return as it was prior to receiving laser hair removal treatments. The hair follicles damaged in the anagen phase during the treatments will not return. Typically, only receiving two sessions will not cause bald patches to appear, but the hair can return thinner and not as thick....

We advise that you only shave the hair in the treatment area. This way you can ensure the laser reaches the hair follicles underneath the surface of the skin.
