My left breast is larger and the nipple is lower than the right one. I understand that most women have asymmetrical breasts but I want mine "perfect". If I get 2 different size implants, will it correct the size and/or nipple problem? Is there anything during surgery or post op that can be done to help "even things out"? After surgery, should I massage the left breast (lower nipple) down more often than the right to assist it in dropping and raising the nipple?

Answer: Adjust your expectations It is not possible to attain perfection. You will need to adjust your expectations or you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Your starting point is excellent. You should have an excellent result. Your nipples are going to have the same asymmetry after surgery as they do now. I would put a small amount of extra volume in your smaller side, but you are not a good candidate for different size implants.

Answer: When nipples are not level they will still be uneven if only augmented. To improve the 'levelness' of the nipples, you must have a mastopexy on one side. In my practice, I suggest having the implants first and making sure my patient is happy with the implant position then I would do the nipple leveling mastopexy in the office under local at considerable savings to my patient. This provides a more accurate outcome.
