I'm 23 years old hoping to get Silicone Breast Implants by next year, if my saving stays constant I should be able to raise around $3,300 and I'm planning to pay the rest with Care Credit my question is, what's a rough estimate (since I know the price can be affected by severalfactors) of breast implants in the Los Angeles area? I'm willing to travel, also wondering if there is any discount for paying a portion of the cost in cash? (p.s.not planning to go that big, maybe 1 cup and a half bigger

Answer: How much is the total cost of Breast Augmentation in California? Thanks for the question. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider, type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well. As you mentioned, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Best wishes.

Answer: California Breast Augmentation Costs Like most services, costs will vary depending on a variety of factors. Breast augmentation costs will depend on quality (surgeon and implants used), facility fees at surgical center/hospital, anesthesia fees, surgeon's fee, region in the state/country, etc. While cost is obviously important we recommend consulting with an experienced breast augmentation board certified plastic surgeon as quality of surgeon will provide you with the best surgical outcomes. While a price range seems useful to list in this response we feel this would be a disservice as the price range can be so broad even between adjacent counties.

Answer: Breast Implant Cost The cost of breast augmentation is quite variable. Some of the factors involved are the cost of implants, anesthesia, surgery center fee, and your surgeons fee.Saline implants cost less than silicone implants which cost less than the cohesive silicone gel. An anesthesiologist who is board certified will usually charge more than a nurse anesthetist. A surgery center that is accredited will cost more than an operating room that is not accredited. As well as your surgeon, a plastic surgeon who is board certified with a great deal of breast surgery experience will obviously charge more than a surgeon who is not board certified or is not even a plastic surgeon.Figure out what area you are looking to have your surgery and then go on some consultations and see whom you feel more comfortable with. Evaluate the before and after photos, reviews and then go with your gut feeling.Hope that helps.

Answer: Cost? Costs of the breast augmentation procedure will certainly vary depending on your location. Things to factor in for the surgery standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, implant cost (saline vs. silicone, other fees (e.g., acellular dermal matrix cost, pain pump, surgical garment, etc.) Typically augmentation with saline implants will be ~$1000 less than with silicone implants. Consultation with a plastic surgeon on the procedure along with quotes is advised, but a range of $4000-9000 is reasonable depending on the factors above. Hope these answers help!
