What procedures can I do to widen my smile ? Can invisalign help? Surgery? What are my options? Palate expander? I’m 18

There are many ways to widen your smile. A photo would be very helpful in evaluating your current situation. I have recently had a case where we did widen the arch with NO PREPARATION VENEERS, thus no surgery, no braces. Every case is different.

There are various ways to widen a smile. The best way is dependent on the individual case. The most dramatic results can be obtained by widening the arch. This can only be done with an arch development appliance worn daily for 12-16 hrs or surgically. Other ways to widen a smile would be braces, Invisalign or veneers; however, the results are less dramatic with these methods because you are only changing teeth, you are not widening bone.Good luck!

Hey, Its hard to tell without any pictures or a proper evaluation how much of a wide smile you need. However, Invisalign does a fantastic job in expanding your upper arch which can help you get a wide smile.
