My orthodontist said that I am ready to have my braces removed within the next two months. This concerns me as there are several little black triangles everywhere in my bite. In addition my maxillary lateral incisors are both slightly behind my two front teeth. I have received palatal expansion and am thinking that the only way to correct this would be to expand the palate again to line them up. Note: projected treatment was 24 months. It is at 29 months as of this writing; I have had no extractions.
