Can I get Invisalign on my top teeth after an implant on tooth #8 is placed?

Hello, so I have a slightly loose tooth #8 (one of my center frontal tooth) due to a fall, would it be smart to get the tooth extracted and put in a dental implant before I get Invisalign? The pockets on number 9 seems to be a little deep as well, how should I go about fixing the top of my teeth which is slightly crooked? Thank you

Depending on the alignment of your front teeth, may be possible to have the implant placed and then to have Orthodontic treatment, however we typically recommend the orthodontic treatment to be completed prior to the Implant placement. Good question!  First, a photo of your teeth and smile would be most helpful in advising you.  The sequence of your treatment should be as follows:  1). Removal of tooth #8 if your dentist feels it is best to remove it after X-ray has been taken.  In order to keep your gums from receding above #8 after it is removed, a bone graft should  be placed to stimulate bone growth.  You will need to have a temporary tooth replacement during the healing time.  2). Invisalign treatment to straighten and make sure the width of the space for #8 is the same as the width of #9.  Invisalign can do this and it will assure that you will end up with your two front teeth being equal in width and symmetrical.  You do not want any surprises here.  3). Placement of implant after Invisalign treatment is completed.  This will assure that the implant is properly positioned and centered in the #8 space.  4). Fabrication of abutment and crown to replace #8.  Your abutment should be tooth colored to allow the most esthetic, natural looking crown to be made and cemented over the abutment.  A titanium abutment can be customized with zirconia tooth colored material bonded to it to provide both strength and esthetics. Your final crown can now be made with the translucency of your natural teeth.  
Following this sequence of treatment will insure that you will get the best final result possible.
