I didn't include the picture of my x-rays in my previous post. So I wanted to add it to get a more accurate opinion. My orthodontist had recommended extracting upper 1st premolars to retract teeth for overjet, but considering the possible negative side effects, I don't want to extract them without really needing to. Additionally, I'm also wondering if I have bimaxillary protrusion & if this could also be resolved without extraction.

I would suggest looking into the DNA Appliance and Epigenetic orthopedics as an alternative to extractions that can have negative consequences for life.

Removing 2 upper premolars to correct your upper protrusion is the only treatment plan that can improve your protruding upper teeth and stretched protruding lip position.  There are no negative consequences, the only change will be in the position of your upper front teeth.  Since your lower teeth will remain essentially unchanged, there will be no change in your tongue position, or any "facial change" other than your lip position which will appear more relaxed and natural since you will not have to stretch your lips out over protruded teeth.
