Dental Implant Installed on an Angle - what can I do to fix? (photos)

I had 8 crowns installed across the top - including an implant crown on #7. I don't like the way the #7 crown looks or feels. It protrudes more than the #9 tooth,feels "thicker" and longer.. I've been told that the implant was placed on an angle rather than straight. The lab had to retool their equipment to make the crown so it could be screw retained - and now my dentist tells me I will need a special tool if I move away or need care away from him. Do I need to have implant redone?

IHDE is mainly in basal implants and it is future because it is more patient friendly. but i m not recommending in yr case because still its not common in USA. implant is like a car , maintenance and care is must, so always go for brands which are available in yr area. nobel biocare is good brand.

Hi:There might be incorrect bite pressure on the top denture.  I suggest to have your dentist check your bite and use a torque driver to tighten the screws.Best,Dr. Maddahi
