Your best choice for the gap in your front teeth is orthodontics, possibly invisalign depending on your bite, the duration of your treatment is dependent on your Xrays and your bite !If you do not want orthodontics and want instant orthodontics your choices are as follow:1- Dental bonding, however your 2 front teeth would look wider, and since your teeth are short, it will exacerbate the looks with 2 wide teeth, and again depending on your bite, you may not be able to make your teeth a bit longer.Dental bonding by just adding to the middle is your least invasive choice.2- Dental bonding by a cosmetic dentist which will show you a wax up of how your teeth will look, if he would take off a little tooth structure from the adjacent teeth then bond 4 to 6 teeth for better width ratio.3- Porcelain veneers - can be substituted for dental bonding, depending on your age for a more permanent dental restoration, in which is strong, and does not change in color.
its my advice to go for braces treatment [ fixed or invisible ] to close this space. u can go for bonding also, but in many patients i have observed, complaining about big tooth size after bonding procedure.
Yes you could close this gap with bonding. However, this will make the two front teeth look wider. Have you considered closing the gap with orthodontics?
Bonding on the front teeth can be done but I think it will make them look too wide. You can get a mock-up before you do it to see how it looks and see if you are happy with it. Closing the gap with Invisalign will probabaly be a better option. You can get a virtual movie called a clin-check made to see how it would look before you go ahead with treatment. This would be more conservative treatment and this way you do not have to make changes to your natural teeth. It's not an instant fix. It will take time to achieve the desired result. If you don't like the shape, color, texture of your teeth, then you may consider getting veneers after invisalign. You may be happy with the result of Invisalign treatment by itself. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
Good Question-- The answer is yes--a capable cosmetic dentist can do a great job for you--ask to see photos of their work to make sure that you get the results that you want. Good Luck!
I'm not sure of the extent that your dentist wants to bond your teeth. If the bonding is to fix a few small cavities, than have those done asap. If the bonding is done as a "veneer," let me share some information to help you with your decision. As you can see, your grinding habit...
Yes, that is possible. dentist can check that by xray. but sometimes its not possible to check by xray in such cases removal of existing filling is must.
Probably not good to eat. Also, probably will not work and in fact, it it is a cyanacrylate (spelling?) glue, like SuperGlue, it dissolves in water.
