Can I put TNS cream directly on my scars?

Question

I had breast lift surgery a little over a month ago. I just want to be sure that I can put tns recovery cream directly on my scars. I don't want to cause any irritation or infection. Thanks!

Hi, you should discuss this with your plastic surgeon but generally, it is no problem to rub creams or ointments into your incisions 1 month out. It is actually the massage while you are putting the cream on that really helps with softening your scars. Everyone has different reactions so you should start with a sample patch to make sure that the particular cream you are using does not cause skin irritation. #PlasticSurgery #Scars #BreastLift
