How long does it usually take to get first Invisalign trays?

I went in for Invisalign consultation on January the 8th and it’s been about 3 weeks since my initial consult. I haven’t received a call from the orthodontist about Clin- Check or even making another appointment for the Invisalign. This is new to me so I was just wondering how long does it usually take for the first trays to make its way to the office?

Hi, it normally does not take more than 2-3 working days for Invisalign to send the first clincheck. Once your provider gets it, if he/she is not happy with it will request amendments and that can take longer. Once its all ok, you get it and after approval , you could be looking at about 7-10 days for them to arrive. Hope it helps.

Did you have impression or a scan of your teeth and a series of photos taken at your consultation? If not, you will have to return to the dentist for those before an invisalign prescription can be submitted and a Clincheck developed for your case.
