Pico technology is definitely the way to go with tattoo removal. It is much faster with less pain and scarring than prior technology.  We use the Picoway and have found it to have amazing results in tattoo removal.  The picowxy uses photoacoustic technology to shatter the ink particles.  This helps the ink go away faster and better.  It will take several treatments with any laser and usually is not a single session. 

I purchased the Picoway after carefully evaluating many machines for tattoo removal. I have found it to be highly effective, but depending on the tattoo it will take more than one treatment. Hope that helps.
