I regret my veneers. What are my options?

Over a year ago I impulsively got veneers. I now deeply regret them and it has had a drastic impact on my mental health. If the dentist that fitted them has a mould of your old teeth, is it possible to have new veneers made to match the mould and your old teeth?

Now that you know what you don't like, it will be easier to get the look you want.  The redo will include a cosmetic wax-up that will be used for the temps so you can see it in your mouth.  From there, color and characteristics can be selected to ensure you will be happy.

There really are two options: find a dentist that uses a top lab that CAN reproduce the old size/shape/anatomy of your old teeth or have (same dentist?) make a diagnostic waxup of how you WANT your teeth to look.In my experience, this situation is from going to a dentist that didn't plan the case enough.  Step one in MY office is take impressions of your teeth and then create a wax version of your desired smile.  Once approved, you can wear a prototype of this to "road test" it.  Once you approve (sometimes zero adjustments to the prototype, sometimes many), the lab can duplicate in your desired color/shade.If none of this was done, and your veneers were simply delivered "as is", then this situation is common.
