Tooth moving back while waiting a month for bridges and retainer after Invisalign. What should I do?

Great Question--Yes--call your dentist and have them get you in ASAP--they may make a simple retainer for you to wear or the last aligner may be adequate even with some slight movement. The temporary and new bridge will also benefit the stability. Good Luck!!

Dear Luiscp,Thank you for posting your question on Real Self.  I will do my best to answer your question with the information provided.I recommend scheduling a visit with your orthodontist.  There are a few options to correct your teeth where they finished with the final aligner.  Your doctor can order a new final or order more aligners if he/she feels that the tooth will continue to shift.  You can also discuss possible correction once you are finished with your restorative work.I hope that this helps and good luck!Best,Dr. Jenn

Get in touch with your orthodontist to see if he/she can fabricate for you an Essix (clear) retainer. Some doctors like to use these retainers in the interim, while you wait for the restorative work to be completed.
