I have called the practice and The receptionist told me she could book an appointment for me however i dont want to make the long journey if it is not necessary. I am wearing the invisalign for overcrowding on the bottom teeth and i am currently on my 12th out of 16 set .

Yes, you can definitely have your teeth reshaped to remove the mamelons. It is painless to do and doesn't harm the teeth. I recommend having it done once you have completed treatment, like you suggested. Ask your orthodontist to do it for you.
