Do I have to use local steroids after Fraxel for couple of days?

Most patients of mine certainly do not use topical steroids after Fraxel restore. Good emollients are recommended and that is all that is required.

Steroids are just a way to modify the healing response after the laser treatment, so they may be recommended but are not necessary. It really depends on how you&rsquo;re healing after laser treatment.

You do not need steriods unless you too much inflammation and your doctor is concerned  about hyperpigmentation. Most patient apply moistureizer and after 2 days you can apply makeup
