Is Tear Trough Treatment with Redensity ll suitable for my genetic dark circles? A local clinic recommended me to get it.

I have been treating dark circles and tear troughs under the eyes for well over a quarter of century dating back to the days of the use of the original Zyderm I collagen for this purpose. Since that time there have fortunately been some great advancements in the materials we use for this purpose, as well as in the techniques for injecting them.In my Upper East Side Manhattan office, I typically use a combination of Belotero Balance and Radiesse to treat dark circles under the eyes. Belotero is a hyaluronic acid product with little or no tendency to engender the unwanted, bluish Tyndall Effect when injected superficially within the delicate tissues under the eyes;  Radiesse, which is a whitish colored filler, helps to directly lighten the under eye darkness.  In my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available including Teosyal products, I have used Teosyal Redensity II combined with a small amount of Radiesse for lightening under eye dark circles with gratifying results. Regardless of which hyaluronic acid filler is used, I am convinced that the addition of the small amount of Radiesse contributes significantly to the desired lightening. Generally speaking, when performed by an expert, experienced injector, the risks are minimal and consist of temporary redness and bruising, tenderness, and swelling.
