Everyone has 100-150 hairs they lose everyday which is normal. However if you are having more than that and suffered 3 months ago very stressful event big surgery or emotional stress that comes from loss of a job, death in the family, bad emotional break up are examples...usually grows back 4-6 months...redness of your scalp not usual I would come and get checked out.

However, I would highly recommend you to see a dermatologist so he/she can examine your hair and scalp to give you the right diagnosis. What is needed here is a proper examination and full story. You need to see an expert who can evaluate if you have signs of androgenetic alopecia (male balding). That’s the key here. You need a good history snd blood tests to rule out triggers of TE but male balding remains at the top of the list
