I am 3 months into my invisalign treatment and I have recently experienced some minor sensitivity to temperature and sugar in a top molar (#15). I had my 6 month checkup with my regular dentist and he recommended filling the tooth. When I asked if this could interfere with my invisalign treatment, he would only say "it shouldn't", but I am still concerned. Do I have a legitimate concern? Should I contact my orthodontist before getting the filling? Thank you.
