Lifting/straining post op - How would I know if I’ve done any damage?

kcupmomma
Surgery was two weeks ago and I’ve been so careful not to lift anything more than 5 lbs, but a few times I’ve had to use some arm strength to care for my toddler. Today he threw a tantrum while getting dressed and I feel I may have strained to hard to secure him. Armpit/shoulder sore on the one side and gurgle sound when I leaned over (just1-2 times). These are sensations I haven’t felt since just after surgery but I’m trying to stay calm. How would I know if I’ve done any damage?
