If you discontinue Tretinoin for a year, do you lose what you achieved at that point?

Let's say you have to discontinue tretinoin for one year because of a pregnancy, do you lose the benefits on your skin you got until then? On a wider anti-aging strategy, does interrupting for a year change a lot the anti aging benefits you may achieve? thank you very much.
