I just started using Latisse last week. I noticed it makes my eyes a little red, and after I put it on they get itchy and more red. Will this go away or should I stop using it?
Answer: Reduce the amount of applications per week and assess if you notice any relief. Thank you for your question. Reduce the amount of applications per week and assess if you notice any relief. If using every night, use every other night. If this does not provide any difference, schedule a follow up with your physician to discuss your concerns. Best,

Answer: Latisse is Making my Eyes Red and a Little Itchy, Should I Stop Using It? This is probably the most common side effect people experience while using Latisse. It usually resolves itself after a little bit of time. Make sure you are following the directions and using the medication properly. If it becomes too much to handle or does not persist then I recommend visiting a doctor and talking to him/her about it.

Answer: Redness from Latisse
Make sure you are using the product as directed- one drop per applicator brush to each upper eye. You may be experiencing irritation from the applicator brush; in which case, you could try using a non-irritating brush that you can sanitize or replace. If it is still irritating at that time, it might not be the right thing for you. Best of luck.

Answer: Red and Itchy Eyes After Using Latisse
Red, irritated , itchy eyes after starting Latisse is a common side effect of the medication. Although bothersome, it is rarely harmful to the eye. Make sure to use only one drop of Latisse on your brush even though the brush may feel dry there is medication on it. Remember that a little bit goes a long way. If your eyes get too irritated you can stop using it for a week. If your eyes are irritated and you would like to continue using it make a visit to your ophthalmologist who will prescribe eye drops to help with the irritation.
