Are more laser treatments needed? I'm also wondering what wavelength will remove the darkened pink ink.

Was this a cosmetic tattoo used as a lip liner or eyeliner?  These inks can contain iron, which will turn darker or gray.  It should resolve over multiple treatments, but will be darker in the interim.

Most pink tattoos have some white ink in them. Q-switched laser treatment of white ink may actually make the ink darker. Continued laser treatment in most cases will lighten the color.
