Bleeding and swelling during your microblading treatment is normal. This occurs with almost all patients. However, there are some things your can do to help prevent or decrease your chance of bleeding and swelling. We recommend that our patients refrain from ibuprofen, aspirin and NSAID related products a few days prior to the procedure. You can also increase your intake of fresh pineapple or start taking Arnica Montana, which is anti-bruising/swelling agent. If you do bleed or swell, generally the swelling goes down after 24-48hours. With the bleeding it is possible that scabs form, you do not want to pick or remove this scabs as it may diminish the pigment from your microblading treatment. Hope this is helpful to you and good luck!

A topical numbing agent can help stop the areas that may bleed. It is also common to have some swelling. The swelling usually calms within 24 hours. After your initial brow application the brows do not continue to bleed. The bleeding should have stopped in the office. If you are still experiencing bleeding and swelling you may want to follow up with your provider.Best to you,
