So I got some teeth extracted and braces to fix an overbite I had, worst thing I could have done to myself. My new smile is so narrow and I have to strain myself to smile feeling awkward! What I was thinking was to 1st get a palate expander then after get braces again. But instead of using the bands the way I use to wear them to bring my maxilla back, I was wondering if I can use the bands in the opposite way to create force to move my maxilla forward a bit. Is my concept of this correct ?
