I have a perforated septum, a scab keeps forming, my doctor said it was fine to blow my nose but when I do it pops out.

Question

The doctor has me using saline spray and gel to keep it from drying out, but is it ok that the scab comes out? When it does it tends to bleed a little, nothing major though.

All perforated septums will have a scab that fills the hole. Using antibiotic ointment intranasally helps so does irrigation. . If it continues to be infected get it repaired. It is a lingeringing infection that impares your healthdd
