I had really high dhea-s (477) which I believed was causing my hair loss. Doctor put me on dexamethasone 0.25 daily. It stopped my hair loss and lowered my dheas. I just tapered off about a week ago and my dheas are still low but hair loss is starting again. So my question is... Is high dhea-s a symptom of the problem like an inflammatory response or does the high dheas cause hair loss? If my dheas is now normal why did stopping the dexamethasone cause hair loss to return?

The first thing to understand is that each person's case is specific to them. The rate of progression of hair loss is different based on both genetic and environment factors, so what may keep 80-90% of ahir for one person may keep only 30-40% for someone else.
That being said, what I know about...
Thank you for the question. Temperature of water will not have any affect of hair growth. However, you should avoid using extremely hot water or showering for long periods in hot water to avoid over-drying the scalp.
