Bulge in gum above root canal/laser treated new crown?

3 Days after two back teeth crowns fitted, the one which has had root canal and laser on it, a bubble has started above it in gum. NO great pain but worried that it may be infection. Can it be something else? NO pain of problems over the three days.

Hi:The tooth under the crown can not get infected, it can get decayed and the roots or the gum can get infected.  Rinse with warm salt water, keep the area clean and have it reevaluated in 7-10 days.Best,Dr. Maddahi

Hi:There might be nerve damage due to the cracked tooth.  I would have the nerve tested to make sure it is ok.  Otherwise, your pain should subside in 7-10 days.Best,Dr. Maddahi
