8 weeks post ReLEx SMILE and C3R: what can I do about halos and glaring?

Question

It has been almost 2 months and I feel I am still not comfortable with the eye as I still see glowing everywhere especially when things are white and also glare is still persistent. I am continuing my drops till date but I feel I am getting what I wanted. What should I do now?

Glare and haloes are extremely common in any type of laser vision correction.  It usually settles well unless you have significant residual refractive error.  In some cases it is protracted so just hang on.  It is unfortunately well known that in rare cases haloes and glare are persistent.  I would however suggest that you stop your ?steroid drops and only continue with lubricants.  I would also suggest that you see your optometrist or Eye Surgeon as soon as possible to test the pressures in your eyes as you might have what we call a steroid response with high eye pressures.  If the pressure is too high it can cause oedema of your cornea which will definitely worsen haloes.  It would be a good idea to get checked out as soon as possible
