Does typhoid cause hairloss?

Since I suffered from typhoid fever, I am experiencing hairfall about 30-40 hair per day. Is it temporary or not?

This fever can induce a telogen effluvium hair loss beginning two to three months after the fever and  usually continuing for 6 to 12 months. If it goes beyond 12 months,  it is possible that there are  other factors influencing the hair loss. Find a hair loss expert.

People who develop a disabling disease like Typhoid fever can have have hair loss from the episode. If you don't have the genetics for hair loss in your genes, the hair usually returns within 6 months after recovery
