I am 54 years old. I am 5'7". When I started the process in August I weighed 260. I have lost 30 pounds while waiting for my surgery so I do believe the sleeve will be the best for weight loss but worried about the GERD. I am getting ready to have gastric sleeve but I am confused since most of what I read states if I have GERD I should have RNY. I have GERD but my wants to do the Sleeve.

With your weight and those health conditions, a gastric sleeve would be very helpful to you. Some surgeons will not do procedures for patients with BMI < 35 while others will. You may have to search around your community or region for such a surgeon.
