I am considering a primary rhinoplasty and have read a lots of posts from patients with my skin type (thick nose) complaining about extreme swelling even years after the surgery. What are the things you would recommend the patient to do to help expedite swelling resolution. Assuming the nose heals fine in 1 year, could things like weather and type of food intake still impact nose swelling?

During a rhinoplasty consultation, we always ask our patients what is bothering them about their nasal appearances. Computer imaging is then helpful for establishing goals. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

As far as I can understand your question your surgeon can not decided which amount injection you might need your surgeon needs to see your skin type face to face.It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best regards!
