I am considering a brow lift with PDO barbed thread in order to achieve a higher brow and more almond shaped eye. Is there a long term risk of stretching my skin and ultimately make it sag in the future. I am only 24

Thread lifts were tried about 15 years ago. To nobody’s surprise they were found to be absolutely worthless. Fast forward to today and they have resurfaced as a substitute for a facelift. These new threads are touted as new and improved, figuring that people have forgotten the first use...
Lets first of all put something straight:
Fillers help with volume loss, giving back part of the lost facial shape, thus excellent for face sculpting/ nasolabila folds.
Thread lift is amazing on giving back firmness on sagging skin which in many cases results from loss volume...
I would recommend speaking with your provider to best answer your questions but at my office we typically tell patients to come back once a year to have a touch up or a thread or two added.
