Could Minoxidil foam cause a cancer? I use minoxidil foam for growing a beard.

I have saw in the ingredients of minoxidil foam Butylated hydroxytoluene. There is researches on BHT may cause to cancer. It's safe to use minoxidil foam? How can i check if BHT dosage nothing more than permitted?

I have never read any studies of it causing cancer. It has been studied for many years and it hasn’t shown to cause cancer.

Topical Minoxidil  treatments have been around for a long time (at least 20+ years).   Although the foams are newer, they are still FDA approved.  I have not heard of any negative consequences from them.

I am not familiar with a relationship between minoxidil foam and cancer.  You can always switch to the liquid if you are concerned
