How soon after CO2 resurfacing can Sofwave been done?

Hello, I am a 58 years old Japanese woman who just had CO2 resurfacing. The doctor did not use too strong a setting due to fear of PIH (which I have never had) and because I have few wrinkles. The face healed in 5 days except for very slight redness. The neck still has dark burn marks at 5 days but seems healed. How soon can I do Sofwave? I know some people do both together but my dr did not have Sofwave nor Ulthera. Thank you

Thanks for your question. Sofwave represents an improvement in microfocused ultrasound over the older version of this technology which is Ulthera. We get much better results with the Sofwave. You would not want to "stress" the skin which was just treated with CO2 laser though. That should be allowed to completely heal. I would suggest you wait 3 months prior to doing the next collagen stimulating session, especially on your neck where it sounds like you took a harder 'hit' with the energy (as the neck skin is thinner than that of the face and is more delicate due to not having as many sebaceous glands in it).
