Is it possible for a slight underbite to be corrected using only orthodontic appliances: braces, elastics etc? I really don't want to have surgery. When I close my teeth slowly my front teeth rest on top of one another. To make it more comfortable I push my lower jaw out and create an underbite. I don't mind being in braces for years but would like to avoid surgery at all cost. I currently have no problems eating /speaking etc and have no joint pain. Thank you
