Do I really need to pull one of my bottom teeth? (Photo)

I am 50. Never had braces. The older I get the more crowded my bottom teeth get. I was thinking Invisalign - hoped I could just do bottom teeth but apparently both top & bottom must be treated(?). Also the doc I saw said he would definitely want me to have one of my front bottom teeth pulled before starting Invisalign or regular braves (the one that's most out of wack) but I really don't like that idea. Appreciate your thoughts ...

I would recommend expanding the upper dental arch which would significantly improve your final result by giving you a broader smile. It will also create sufficient space to accommodate your lower anterior teeth without extracting one.Good luck!

Dear Enquirer, your crowding is moderate but not severe. You would not need one of the from teeth removed as we can expand the arch and carry out some interdental reshaping of the enamel. That should allow Invisalign to correct your crowding. typo.

It appears from your photos that removing one of your lower front teeth is a good option.  It is a common and very successful approach to the type of malocclusion you have.

yes, single lower anterior extraction will work in yr case. u have 5-6m  crowding so by pulling one tooth it will create same amount of space.
