My concern would not be from the actual waves passing through the skin as much as from the very fact there would be physical manipulation of the skin during any of these treatments. Permanent fillers of all kinds retain the potential for the develop of adverse reactions, such nodules and granulomas, that may occur soon after treatment or as many as five, ten or twenty or more years later, usually following some kind of manipulation of the skin, such as trauma or manipulation of the skin in the course of dental work, etc. It would be wise to fully discuss this issue with the treating physician. It is one of the major reasons that, despite the allure of permanent fillers, I have long since given up injecting them. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
