Average cost for epithelial ingrowth treatment?

I cannot find any information about the cost of surgery to remove epithelial ingrowth but I am very concerned since I have read a few horror stories about it coming back 4 times. I know most of you would have to be reluctant to guess but I would really appreciate it. I'm not going to quote you, I'm just hoping I can quit worrying about the worst case scenario. I'm in the midwest (if you know prices so well that you can adjust regionally lol). Thanks!

I'm the New York metropolitan area we charge $2500 for epithelial ingrowth treatment. This consists of lifting the lasik flap, sweeping out the epithelial tissue and the treating the corneal bed to prevent recurrences. There is a 25% chance of recurrence even in the best hands. If this occurs we will recommended a flap suturing technique that will stop further episodes nearly 100% of the time.

Most surgeons will not charge for removal
of epithelial ingrowth if it is in a patient they did the original LASIK
on.  If that is not the case,
typical cost may range from $1,500 to $2,500 per eye.
