Tretinoin is a topical form of Vitamin A and it  can help with skin renewal, which helps improve skin texture and fine lines/wrinkles. After one begins using it, the effects may not evident for several months. However, if after an extended period of use you have not seen improvement, it may be advisable to visit with your doctor to discuss your progress and determine how best to proceed.
