Prp is effective, but I have a very specific protocol, every 3-4 weeks for 6 months with prp therapy. I also add in progesterone to speed the healing process. After that the injections are tailored down. You should also be on viviscal and other growth promoting ingredients. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
Combination therapy included with PRP is more effective than PRP alone. The amount of time that you have been losing your hair will determine the results of the treatment plan. The more recent the miniaturization began, the better the hair loss density will improve. Please allow one year to evaluate your results. Find a PRP expert. Ask to see photos.
You are certainly doing all the correct things! Be patient- the follicles don't reverse themselves that quickly. You don't generally start seeing results until after the second monthly PRP treatment. You should see new hair growth by about 6 months.

Thank you for your question, This needs an in-person evaluation. I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. There are great non-invasive options like prp/progesterone and/or hair transplantation. ...
As a point of clarification, most surgeons performing hairline lowering are not using screws or anything permanent to hold the hairline in its new position. Most surgeons either use Endotines or bone tunnels with absorbable suture. I agree that PRP would have no use in your situation. One cut...
It may or may not. It really depends if the cause of your hair loss now is exactly the same as it was then. Over time, many women develop an increasing proportion of their hair loss from androgenetic alopecia. If your hair loss was 60 % due to telogen effluvium and 40 % AGA before but is now ...
