A piece of my TOP front tooth is hanging by a thread. Should I pull this piece off until I can see a dentist?? (photo)

I had a filling on the back side of my TOP FRONT tooth and it fell out and caused my tooth to splinter off. Today another lower piece of the tooth broke but is still connected. It is somewhat sharp. Should I pull it off or leave it connected until I can see a dentist?!

It is ok to remove the loose piece of filling/tooth. I would recommend seeing a dentist as soon as possible to restore the tooth to prevent further tooth fracture.

It's ok to remove the small broken piece as that would be removed when fixing the tooth anyway.It looks like there's a big cavity.Dr. Reiser
