Strange T shaped scar from facial mole excision (Photo)

I had a mole on my chin excised 6 weeks ago and the vertical incision is healing fine. However I have a secondary horizontal line that makes the scar area look T shaped. It is very upsetting because it makes the whole area look so much worse and I have no idea how it happened or if the second line will go away. I wonder if the horizontal line is from the ends of the stitches, or the actual stitch itself that was under the skin? Please advise. Thank you.

I understand your concern and would suggest you see your physician for followup asap. While the steps you are taking are good, if it is a a true infection then you need to most likely take antibiotics. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true...

It is difficult to see a photo, without a history and then, recommend treatment. It would be best to see a dermatologist in your area, who may suggest removal.
